ACM ICPC silver medal won by UW programmers
A team of the University of Warsaw programmers won a silver medal in the World Finals of the 34th Association for Computing Machinery International Collegiate Programming Contest, held in Harbin, China. Three students representing the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics : Karol Kurach, Krzysztof Pawłowski and Michał Pilipczuk, supervised by professors Jan Madey and Krzysztof Diks won eight place overall out of 103 teams.
