University of Warsaw is the most active Polish organisation in terms of EC contribution granted to the FP7 research projects according to the newly published EC report "Innovation Union Competitiveness Report 2011". The University has received 7% of a total amount granted by European Commission to research projects in Poland

The third edition of the governmental program „Top 500 Innovators” has ended. 116 finalists will go for a two-month traineeship to the best research institutions in the world in order to learn about commercialization of scientific research and cooperation between science and economy. Research Centre without borders
On 22 March, the official opening of the Biological and Chemical Research Centre of the University of Warsaw took place. Symbolic act of cutting the ribbon followed by short speeches opened a new chapter in the research activity of the University. [more]
