UW's "Warsaw Leaders" take fourth place at the GMC world finals!

A team of students from the University of Warsaw took fourth place at the international GLOBAL MANAGEMENT CHALLENGE 2007. The competition was held in Bucharest on April 15-16.

The UW team competed against 24 teams from across the globe. The task before competitors was the virtual management of a company in a simulated market reality, the aim being to maximally increase the value of their company's shares. Thanks to their fantastic performance in the semifinals on the first day, the "Warsaw Leaders" advanced to the final, where they won fourth place and mounted the podium. Just barely inching past our team in their respective share prices were the teams from Macao, China, and Hong Kong.
